"It's That Time Again...11 Baby Making Eargasms"

So I've been looking for the ultimate smash love mix. And I've come to the conclusion that the majority of the one's out are Wiggity Whack!!! So I got to thinking...If I could create the ultimate love mix...what would be on it?

and Kah-Bliggity-Blam!!! Here's what I came up with...It wasn't easy but here are a few of my faves...

Donell Jones "Natural Thang"
I'm a Donell STAN so of course he's #1 on the list. He i
s one of the most underrated artist out. The man deserves his props. Trust me he's got plenty panty dropping noteworthy tunes under his belt but this song HAS to be my favorite...the shit just makes me melt.

Maxwell "Till The Cops Come Knocking"
This MAN...This MAN...this SONG...wooooooooooooo!!! *fanning myself* Anything Maxwell touches gives me goosebumps. I admit I was a little optimistic when he came back on the scene missing his signature fro...but when
you got it; you just got it...and this here SONG makes me forget about all of that...LOL...This is the ONLY brotha that can make a 7 minute song that doesn't annoy me...LOL

112 "Now That We're Done"
They had quite a few love songs...but none have compared to this one from their first album
...I love the lyrics & arrangement it instantly sets a sexy kinda mood...

H-Town "Ways To Treat A Woman"
I don't know who da hell came up with the idea to hit the hook of this song in that high falsetto...lol...BUT....urhh ruhhh...for me IT WORKS!!! it's kinda comical but STILL kinda sessay @ the same time...LMAO..R.I.P. Dino...

Raheem Devaughn "Ask Yourself"
2 words... "His Voice"....The first time I heard this song I literally put it on repeat until I ended up singing the lyrics. Normally I wouldn't even consider a song like this as an "In The Mood" type of song but the brotha's VOICE kills me softly EVERYtime I hear it.

Shai "Sexual"
If it was any other artist I'd never give a song that has the word "sex" in it the time of day. Mainly because I think a sexy song should have me dripping from
metaphorical bliss NOT from blatantly raw lyrics. And this song is "Sexy" without all the "Extras"...it's intimate & visual but still leaves something to the imagination.

Changing Faces "Baby Tonight"
Even though this wasn't one of their released singles...I Love-Luv this song. They're one of the few female artists that I'd put on a "sexy" playlist. This song is the epitome of sensual & sweet...

Prince "I Can't Make You Love Me"
I've heard this song covered by other artist before...BUT...Prince's version is the ONLY one that I could ever listen to more than once.

Jagged Edge "Healing"
This is one of those songs that if somebody or something distracts me while it's playing...I HAVE to rewind it...LOL...

Marques Houston "Naked"
DON'T.JUDGE.ME for this one...LOL...Although I am not...I repeat I am NOT a fan!!!! The brotha got down on this one...I give credit where credit is due...

Robin Thicke "Teach U A Lesson"
I crown this dude the new King of Bedroom Music. He's just got the kinda voice that makes you wanna inhale his damn lyrics...

What are some of your faves???

"Weekend Eargasm...Note Worthy Tracks From The 90's"

It's that time again...Being a fan of the one hit wonders & all...I just wanted to Highlight a few tracks that will forever stay in rotation in my Ipod...

Gina Thompson-The Things You Do

Man this was my song....I remember this video so clearly too. With Biggie & Puff's ass in it. And in case you forgot...this is where Missy Elliot made her debut with the Hee-Hee-Hee-Hee-Howwww....LOL....girlie did have talent, just another victim of Diddy's raft I guess...

Blackgirl-90's Girl

I LOVED this song...this was definitely the ONLY good track on the CD. My sister actually graduated from her modeling class strutting the runway to this song.....(I would've put the video up but she'd KILL me) hhahahahahaha!!!!

A+-All I See

I don't even know if this was a hit & on top of that the instrumentals sounded like they were made in the basement of someone's momma's house BUT this is one of the first songs I knew from beginning to end...Hope he got the royalty's from the cassette tape I bought & still have...LOL
"We Hooked Like Drugs...Was On My Way To Being A Thug Till You Showed Me Love"...

Sweet Sable-Old Times Sake

"Smokin' A Blunt & Sippin On A Heineken" just a girl singing about having a GOOD time in the hood...Definitely a classic!

Monifah-I Miss You (Come Home)

Girlie was kinda like a classy Adina Howard (if that makes sense?) But the first time I saw the video to this song with Heavy D & AZ in it I was officially a STAN....I literally have all her music...Eff what you heard Monifah could sing!

DRS-Gangsta Lean

Way before Bone Thugs were poetically riding hardcore beats. DRS were the first to give us a taste of Thug R&B...Nothing sexier than Gangsta's harmonizing & sh*t..."I Tip My 40 To Your Memory" ...

Subway-Fire

I don't even remember if this one was actually released as a single but it was definitely one of the best tracks on the album. Remember they came out with that song 'This Little Game We Play' featuring 702...

Nuttin Nyce-What Can I Say To You (To Justify My Love)

I remember these chics from the Low Down Dirty Shame Soundtrack...even though some of their lyrics were a little on the raunchy side they could still sing...And Justify My Love featuring Hi-Five was my SONG!!!!!!

Whitehead Brothers-Your Love Is A 187

Ooooooooh....The fact that I can still play this CD in it's entirety minus a track or two is definitely an understatement...These boys definitely put in work...I'm just mad they didn't survive...LOL...

Now for the visual...yeah the video sucked but the song made up for that...

"Remix: 7 Old School Albums That Had My Neck Poppin"

Here we go again...

Special Ed-Legal: I might of been in elementary school but Special Ed was so my boyfriend. Who didn't love 'I'm The Magnificent' & my favorite 'The Mission'...and that high-top S curl was the TRUTH...

Special Ed-The Mission

Monie Love-Down to Earth: Having an older sister had it's perks. I got down with the best of them, while the other kiddies were still watching after school specials I was bumping Monie In The Middle....had no idea what it meant though...

Monie Love-Monie In The Middle

M.C. Luscious-Boom: "Boom! I Got Your Boyfriend" Rapping those lyrics had every chic on the playground hatin'...*Blows dust off cassette tape to see if it still works*

M.C. Luscious-Boom! I Got Your Boyfriend

J.J. Fad-Supersonic: "Everybody Knows J.J. Fad is Devastating"...these chics had every girl beatboxing, plus they were like the fastest female M.C.'s out...Oh the memories, me & the big sis' used to rap the hell outta this song, I was Baby-D & she was Sassy C...LMAO...."See, the 'J' is for just, the other for jammin' The 'F' is for fresh, 'A' and 'D' def"....

J.J. Fad-Supersonic

Yo-Yo-Make Way For The Motherlode: Come on!!! Yo-Yo was the ultimate around the way girl...she was hardcore but had sex appeal @ the same time...In my opinion one of the best female lyricist of all time...

Yo-Yo Ft. Ice Cube- You Can't Play With My Yo-Yo

D-Nice-Call Me D-Nice: Man D-Nice was smooth..."My name is D-Nice although I hate to admit it, Taking out you suckers and you don't know how I did it" enough said...*side-note* didn't he marry Malinda Williams?

D-Nice-Call Me D-Nice

MC Nas-D & DJ Freaky Fred-It's My Cadillac: They may not have had D's on it but they definitely introduced us to their Caddy..."Yo it's a shame, and also very funny I can have a decent girl, cuz it's all about that money When I drive my Cadillac she wants to ride in it to death If I walk I don't start talkin' cuz it's wastin' my breath"...

MC Nas-D & DJ Freaky Fred-My Cadillac (Got That Bass)

"8 Albums I'm Ashamed To Own...Shhhhhhhhh"

I may loose major cool points with some of these but in no particular order here it goes...

TQ
-They Never Saw Me Coming: I think this actually came out when I was in high school. I remember bumping this in the portable cd player @ school & this guy I liked asked what I was listening to & in his exact words "why you listening to dat lame ass n*g*a" LOL...I didn't care I was young & loved dumb stuff...whoever couldn't relate to "Somebody Shot My Baby" was LAME in my book LMAO...Didn't he later sign to G-Unit & still managed to fall off again?...(smh)

Pink-Can't Take Me Home: Some folks may act as if they don't remember but lets do a quick refresh. Pink was actually introduced as an R&B artist way before she went Pop/Rock...I thought she was unique before & after the transition but she went on record claiming that LA Reid who discovered her wasn't giving her the creative control she wanted as an artist. (still love Pink, is that so wrong?)

Cleopatra-Comin' Atcha': I'm really prepared to dodge major e-tomatoes & e-punches after having the courage to admit to this one. I think these chics actually started off as a Disney group (come on who doesn't love disney?) They originated from somewhere in the Caribbean...I couldn't resist the urge to buy...something about the cheesy bee-bop lyrics kept calling my name.

Mo Thugs-Chapter II:Family Reunion: Everybody loved Bone Thugs-N-Harmony but when they branched out to the whole Mo Thugs era it was a different type of ball game. Don't act like Krayzie Bone's "It's All Good" wasn''t everybody's jam. But this CD did bring much meaning to the phrase 'sample before you buy'....I had a bad habit of liking one song & then buying the whole album with the misconception that it would be consistent.

Pressha
-Don't Get It Twisted: OK I didn't actually buy this album (thank God) but I did manage to get the 'Splackavellie' single for the freeskie...Yes 'Splackavellie' was corny but dude pulled out the ebonic dictionary & made an entire song from a made up word (now that's G sh*t lol)...can't forget he had that pretty ass Shemar Moore in the video.

Olivia-Olivia: Girlie actually gets an honorable mention, because I still listen to this. All of her ballads were decent she just lacks definition, something that would've separated her from the rest. Also another victim of Fiddy's raft. She was later signed as the first lady of G-Unit but fell off after making accusations of sexual harassment by her label mates. Dayum....

Britney Spears-Baby One More Time: Britney was a G' on her first album, she had that whole girl next door vibe going on. Girlie came a long way since the Mickey Mouse club but I still got side-eyes when the homies learned that I was neck poppin' to Britney. I didn't care though Britney was the TRUTH...

3LW-3LW: I really don't even remember buying this 'ish. And I know I didn't have the audacity to pay for it. OK let me quit the Bull-sh*tin' I remember exactly when I bought this LOL...I must've been on some extra foolishness...these chics voices annoy the hell out of me, the whole album sounds like a music scene from alvin and the chipmunks. Then they pulled a Destiny's Child move; dropped one member and replaced her a*s...Now sadly they reside on the Disney channel & have formed that monstrosity called the 'Cheetah Girls'...(maybe Disney wasn't a bad idea, look @ Raven Symone a little Billionaire in the making) For the record this one goes in file 13.
